**SCAMMING ATTEMPT *** I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights through Expedia with the Crystal Beach hotel. I decided to extend the stay for 1 more night for 1 room and paid with the front desk with my credit card. Upon checking out, the receptionist said I hadnt paid the extra night. I told her I had paid 2 previous nights with another of their coworkers. Another employee came to insist I hadnt paid and they had no record. They asked for a receipt for the extra night. I told them I didnt have a receipt as I theow away receipts I dont need and dont even remember getting a big receipt they showed me but showed them the charge on my credit card with the name of the hotel and told them to check their cameras. They said sure it shows there that you paid but you need to show receipt so we can have a record. I told them it's not my responsibility to maintain the records of their business, that's their problem. They threatened with not letting me go until I show receipt or pay again. Had I not paid with a credit card and had an electronic record they would have claimed I hadn't paid and called the police. They are scammers. Be careful when staying here if you decide to do so. The rooms are not worth the scamming attempt, just book elsewhere.
