The Neenlawat Riverside Resort & Spa
8/10 Good
"Lovely staff and nice location by the river. Basic property but nice clean, modern room with almost everything you need.. toiletries, fridge, snacks etc. I would have liked mugs instead of paper cups & some tea bags, there was only coffee. Also water in reusable glass bottles would be better than plastic. Pool was really nice but only open until 7pm and no real shade around it. Food was delicious and I had a really great margarita too! :) quite expensive overall but very nice for a night stay"

Bansuanphutarn
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, by the side of the river, close to the entrance of the park and the dam. It is also surrounded by a few good restaurants, within a 5-10-minute drive.
The owner offered an upgrade to a room with A/C on arrival for a little extra. She was also very helpful with transportation time tables and activity bookings.
As expected, the room was a bit rustic but clean and functional. The mattress was stiff, even for Thailand. I straighten my back the first night. All good after that.
I would definitely stay again at the Bansuanphutarn on my next visit to this beautiful place!

Lee Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice deluxe room which was lovely and clean. It had a small balcony but panoramic city views from the double aspect windows being the end room. There was a kettle with complimentary coffee too. The en-suite shower was lovely and light, it also had shower cream and shampoo! The staff were extremely courteous. The buffet breakfast was delicious and had some traditional Thai porridge, steamed pork bun, chicken sausage, selection of curry with rice and egg plant. There was also toast, jam, marmalade and cereal. Great hot drink choice from the self serve coffee machine and fruit juice too. I will be staying at the Lee Hotel again when I’m back in February 2026. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, a really excellent choice."

"Had an overnight stay at hotel due to early flight the next morning. The hotel is situated on what appears to be a backroad rural residential area although its minutes for the airport. Check-in was ok but it was obvious the hotel was empty and that they may have not been expecting my arrival. Once checked in, I was taken to my room which was nice to look at but you could tell it has not been used in a while, the towels were stiff, and bed linens needed to be tossed, the loft style room provided everything that we needed for our stay however there were No food options via grab or bolt in the area. The only food option that was available was provided by the hotel but.. I was hesitant to order due to what appeared to be the downstairs lounge/kitchen area smelled of urine and was filled with cats and kittens on the couch, sofa and table areas. I decided to forego their offerings and to simply snack on what I had in my over night bag. I attempted to work with the staff for a private taxi to the airport the next morning but his pricing was double of what bolt and grab’s fare to the airport. On a positive note it was a simple stay and it was interesting being on a quiet lamp lit road surrounded by tall brush, quite homes and seemingly having the place to yourself (had to turn on the lights to go up and down the stairwell). It was a taste of simplicity to end what was an amazing vacation in Thailand. "
