"Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Room had everything we needed, including a very comfy bed but was cold, even whilst we had both heaters on, and the bathroom was even colder. Also couldn't get any hot water from the basin tap. Food good, especially the breakfast."

"My bedroom was slightly noisy over night, as it was adjacent to the kitchen with its freezers or other machines, working through the night. Really enjoyed my stay there, staff extremely helpful and building was very clean , inside and out . Would definitely stay again."

"We were very happy with our stay, chose this hotel because of it's location, easy walk into Shaftesbury and gold hill, and next day to stourhead national trust. The room was very clean and everything worked ok but the room decor reflected the 3 star rating, but the bar and dinning areas were more like 4/5 star and also the food and service one of the best Sunday carveries ever, would return just for that, and then to top that the full English breakfast wow, that was definitely 5 star, the staff...
