"Excellent location with very easy walking into the City Centre and the Cathedral was only 5minutes walk away. Check-in was friendly and professional and although we arrived early this was not a problem. Excellent Car Parking facilities provided good access to the accommodation. The Apartment was located up several stairs without a lift option so worth considering if you have walking difficulties. "Had a short 1 night stay to celebrate my birthday and a mini-reunion with 2 friends who live overseas and we all happened to be in England at the same time. The bar tender was so lovely and gave us a cake to celebrate - it was absolutely delicious! The room was clean and comfortable and wished I could stay longer to make the most of the amenities and services"

"Room was clean and functional. Air con very welcome. Check in and out quick and staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice, lots of variety. My only complaint is that on the second morning (20/07) it was very busy and it took a long time for tables to be cleaned so not many places to sit."

"Overall we had a great time and for the price we paid I do feel it was great value for money. Pros: friendly staff, clean room, great food, great history of the building and the pool and steam room was amazing. Breakfast was superb! Cons: (but nothing bad that would stop me going again just slight tweaks I feel would help) grounds are amazing but need some attention, sauna was either not working properly or was simply running too low, food and staff in Huntleys restaurant were fab however the room the restaurant in is so nice little things like wires hanging down the wall and seats where the view was let it down, the space could be used a lot better. I feel it’s a solid high end 3 star hotel and misses the critical touches of a 4 star however I’ve given it a 4 purely down to the staff as they were so accommodating."
