"A gentleman at the front desk was quite rude. We booked two rooms, and neither of them had heating, even though the outside temperature dropped to 2°C at night. In addition, the doors and windows were not properly sealed, making the rooms even colder. The next morning, for our second night’s stay, we requested either extra blankets or a space heater. "Hotel Desertica is one of the nicest hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in. The location is 10/10, the staff are so friendly and the rooms are unique and luxury. My wife was ill for a day and the staff prepared off-menu chicken soup to make her better and provided local medicinal tea, which really helped. We had to change hotels due to availability but was so unimpressed by the alternative that we returned and spent the rest of our trip at Hotel Desertica. 5* all round!!"

"Easy walk to main shopping area where you’ll find great cafe, restaurants, tourist shops & tour companies. No need to pre book your tours. Supermarket across the road which was very handy.
