"I booked an Ocean View Junior Suite, but unfortunately was never placed in that room due to a pipe burst prior to my arrival. Instead, I was moved to a two-bedroom room with additional space that I did not need. The room I was placed in also had no hot water and drainage issues, which made the stay frustrating. During the trip, I was then asked to move rooms again to accommodate another reservation, which added to the inconvenience. Communication from the property manager was inconsistent and the overall handling of the situation felt disorganized. I was offered a drink voucher, birthday decorations (which I never received), and a 4% refund as compensation. The restaurant and pool staff were the highlight of the stay — they were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and the food was delicious. The view from the property is also beautiful. However, for a hotel with an 8.8/10 rating, I expected a much smoother and more professional experience. Hopefully management takes feedback like this seriously so future guests have a better stay."

"Staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. Room was clean. In room coffee was good. Room itself did not meet expectations. The standard "city view" room was a half basement with a small window looking at eye level onto the floor of a narrow alley - not the airy room shown in the photos. The "private bath" was a toilet in the corner with no fan so any smells would linger. The ceiling was so thin that if your neighbor was walking around up at 4 am to pack for a flight, you were also up at 4 am."

"The room was generally clean although a bit dated. The staff were friendly and mainly multilingual which impressed me. This hotel is located in the middle of everything you need so the location is ideal. Check in and out was a breeze. The one thing I didn’t like was that they asked us to not take off the AC. As someone from The tropics, I don’t like consistent AC/coldness and there was no area that you could retreat from the cold. "

"The scuba lodge is a true gem. It’s well maintained and the rooms were huge and stocked like a B&B. The property is small but the space is utilized perfectly. The restaurant, bar, pool and swimming hole is wonderful!! The staff are great as well. This area seems quite up and coming so everything is relatively near. You do need to walk or taxi to most things so i recommend renting a car if you plan to leave the resort. The ONLY thing we were not happy about was the check in. Yes, we all understand that the technical check in is 4pm BUT if someone arrives early ( as we did), you should try your utmost to get their room done as soon as it’s possible. If check out is 12nn and we have been there since 1030am, the least you can do is your best to accommodate us. It should not have to go to upper management to get things going. In the end we were accommodated ( 3pm) but when you work with ppl, exceptions should always be made available when possible. ( And it was obviously possible)"
