"Arrived to a friendly welcome. Fantastic location in the heart of the old town. Being in a small side street meant that it was quiet at night. Our room was a comfortable size for the two of us. A clever use of space. The air con was appreciated. There are a number of steps up to the property, so beware of this when carrying a case. But it should be noted there are steps everywhere in Dubrovnik. You cannot avoid them. It is a small price to pay to be able to stay in the heart of the city. "

"The room was lovely, with a nice private terrace. Guesthouse Fortyfour is in the middle of the walled city, so it was a busy area with loud music from a nearby bar at night.
