"My wife never complains, and she said the first room they were in was moldy, the second room was better, but still had a smell. Two of our grandkids got scratched by an exposed nail at the pool. The juice machine did not work at breakfast, and other issues with breakfast. Her request was that this motel never be booked again."

"Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. No shower curtain, no towels, reused sheets from previous person, roaches, smoked blunt on the window seal, cigarette burns in the sheets. Slept on top of the sheets since we thought we’d get bed bugs from the bed. The old adage of “you get what you pay for” has never been more true, spend a few more bucks so you don’t have to sleep in this absolute dump."

"This is my home away from home when I'm in Shreveport. Excellent staff and very clean environment. The only thing I can say that would be awesome is if the hotel could be pet friendly. I have had small fur babies, they both have crossed the rainbow bridge. I know at some point I will get me another small dog. I just hope that when I do get one that the hotel will have changed the rules about pets. Once I get me a new little dog I guess I won't be staying at the Courtyard. If my dog can't come...

"The room was very nice and roomy. Pool was a bit crowded because that’s the only activity for kids. I was hoping that this Margaritaville Hotel had a large arcade for the kids to play like others. "We were just traveling through Mississippi and decided to stay over for the night. This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The room was clean. The staff friendly. When traveling with pets, so often you are stuck in the old, dingy rooms, but not so with this hotel. We loved our stay and will definitely consider staying again should we ever be in the area!"

"The room was run down and in need of repairs. There was a foul odor in the toilet. The towel bar in the shower was missing. The walls in the shower were caked with accumulated soap film and were unclean. In the lavatory area, there was a portion of the wall where something had been attached (probably a hand soap dispenser) to the wall but was torn off leaving broken hole in the drywall.
