Très bonne impression générale. Les chambres sont confortables, l'accueil est charmant. Hôtel à recommander pour une famille (chambre spécifique séparée et communicante enfants/parents, séparée par les commodités. Bon restaurant également.

Very close to golf course and theatre

Enjoyed our stay very much and were made to feel welcome by staff. Breakfast was more than either my friend or I could finish and was well cooked and presented. Would definitely consider another break at the Strathgarry.

A very friendly place to take the family

We were made very welcome, all staff were very friendly, always seeing that all our requirements were met.

Great location, fantastic staff

Staff were excellent and friendly. Right on the main street of Pitlochry and less than a 5 minute walk from the station. I recommend the Scottish breakfast.

Conveniently sited

The staff were attentive and friendl. The food excellent. The room adequate. Hotel maintenance an issue as those of us on the top floor couldn't get down due to a door being stuck. One poor couple couldn't get to their room late at night and had to find other accommodation. It could have been very serious in event of a fire.

Fab hotel and excellent food

Absolutely fabulous stay. Breakfast was included and was very good. We ate in the restaurant at night as a 10% discount was given to guests. The meal was excellent. Just to nitpick - the carpet leading to the bedrooms was cream and a bit worn and past it - otherwise it was a suberb hotel and we'll be back

In need of love and attention!!

My wife and I booked the hotel on our trip up to Scotland to break the trip. The Strathgarry's website looked very nice, although did not show any pictures of the rooms. When we arrived we found it very difficult to locate the reception area and had to ask the girl in the coffee shop to help us to check in. As you will see from the photographs the stair carpet was worn and grubby and my wife felt uneasy about the quality of the accommodation. This was confirmed when we were shown into our room - she immediately burst into tears. On further examination we found the shower cubicle to be too small for most people to fit into, chipwood wallpaper hanging off in places and the carpet grubby - my wife expressed horror at not only having to shower in the minute cubile but to have to walk barefooted on the grubby carpet. My wife was so distressed we actuall just left the hotel (which had been prepaid) and booked into a nearby hotel.
