"Fairly dirty room. A si gel sheet covered the mattress and it was an old hard mattress. The door to the outside area was only secured with a flimsy slide bolt that seemed to be made from aluminium. There were a few small cockroaches under the kettle base. The shower was a positive except they when you opened the shower door the shower head was actually above the shower head and the door opened to the shower head side as you could only open it inwards. "The room was at the end of a dingy, battered hallway, not like it's advertised. It felt like a backpackers. Linen was clean and the bathroom was hygienic but it was very dated and cheap. Apologies but I won't be staying again."

"The staff were exceptional! They had booked us an upstairs room, but due to my husbands health, that was not even an option, so the staff changed us to a downstairs room with no issues. It was comfortable, clean and exactly what we needed for the two of us."

"Property was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have breakfast included. Decorations were nice and common outside verandah and indoor lounge area with coffee machine and pool table were lovely too. Easy check in and nice secure and safe feel. Very short stroll to water front and cafes and pubs. Building is a little older but very good value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walking distance from Kings Cross station (a few stairs though)"
