A day later we received an email as if the situation was new, saying only a flat $200 "gesture of goodwill" will be offered if we decided to stay. "Property could use an update. Mattresses were lumpy and carpet was stained and dirty. The property wasn’t super clean. Cobwebs on the balcony and inside smelled musty and dank. Other than that, it was good "
