"Our room was beautiful. If you can get room 701, go for it. The balcony wraps from the front to the back and we had an unobstructed view of Zeus' temple and the Acropolis. The room had a sitting area with two chairs and the bedroom was separate. The only issue I had, and this is because I'm a picky sleeper, it the pillows were a little to full for my liking. We booked the smallest room so it was so. The air conditioning cooled very well. The bathroom was attached to the room and was also very clean. The toilet was inside the shower room with a drain which took a little getting use to. We had a safe and mini fridge within our closet. The bed was extra firm and on the smaller side I believe it was a full or queen rather than 2 twins put together for a double. "The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a lovely old house in the old part of Athens. The room was clean and comfortable and spacious. There was a small balcony with table and chairs overlooking a square. We expected it may be noisy because Plaka is such a busy area, but were pleasantly surprised that it quieted down soon after 10 pm."
