"Everything was very clean and well maintained and the staff was very nice. The bed was a bit lacking - it was oddly short and the springs were very squeaky and also I think there was plastic on it. For a budget hotel not bad though! I do wish they provided conditioner and lotion vs just shampoo and bar soap. Also it smelled weird but not terrible just a strong cleaning smell maybe."

"The hotel was not acceptable for many reasons. I had 4 rooms. None of the rooms had any information about local stuff, TV channels, or the area. 2 rooms had no hair dryer. One room (401) the phone didn’t work, the bathroom door handle fell off, there was mold on the tub, ceiling and wall, there was coffee but no coffee maker, and the room was not clean when we arrived or cleaned on our 2nd day there. Room 403 TV did not work with the remote. The desk person came to the room and told my 84-year-old mother she could reach up and around the tv to control it. We called the front desk for 5 minutes with no answer to get this response when she finally responded. In the same room, there was a door stop in the floor that was a tripping hazard when using the closet. Bathroom amenities included 3 different brands - a bar of soap, a tiny shampoo, and a lotion. No conditioner. It seemed like they got the products at a close out sale or something. There was nothing about this place to set it apart from the cheapest motel, but it wasn’t cheap. Breakfast was ok. Coffee in the lobby was terrible. The whole place smelled of weed and air freshener spray. Every single time we left our room, the key card stopped working. Prior to arriving, I tried to call the hotel numerous times. They never answered. So don’t recommend this place that is actually very conveniently located."

"Kind of dirty, floors were dirty in common area/foyer, stuff stuck to the walls, hair in the shower when we got there. Pool closed, end of May. Staff was upset when we asked for more towels on our third day. Ok place for a quick stop, but I wouldn't stay for more than one night, probably wouldn't go back."

"I have never been in such a horrible filthy unprofessional hotel. Everything was horrible filthy and totally unacceptable Could not check in on time Personnel at front desk were rude, chatted with each other ignoring the guests waiting in line. They also had signs in plain view of patrons that should not have been displayed. They had conversations with cleaning staff that were also inappropriate for patrons to hear. Rooms were filthy: Floors were sticky Furniture dirty Bedding smelled Bathroom not cleaned well Cooling system smelled nasty when it was on Microwave, refrigerator and coffee units were not clean Free complimentary breakfast was disgusting. I took pictures in case somebody wanted to see what the room looked disgusting I am requesting a full refund for this stay!"

"Our room was noisy, police sirens every 5 minutes through the night combined with a broken air vent, the motor was making very loud screeching noises. We requested service and nothing was done about it. The area (Yale) is a true eye opening experience that was unexpected. We were approached by beggars for money to buy alcohol within 15 seconds of walking out of the hotel, the public transit (across the street) is dirty and trash on the street everywhere. Making a change in the community starts at home Yale administrators and students! How do you walk outside and don’t see that action even a very small one can brighten the day and start a better future in your own neighborhood! I was appalled by the neglect and obvious blind eye to the need in this area! I didn’t sleep but briefly after I bought earplugs at the CVS where even chocolate and toothpaste were under locked plastic cases. I feel spoiled in New Orleans and never thought I’d ever say this. The best part of our stay were the maid service, they are amazing, sweet, attentive and should be paid a fortune for the excellent etiquette of service and job they do every day! I would not return to this area or hotel since good sleep is my way to start a great new day."

"Clean, comfortable, and quiet room with good beds. Expedia had no warning that the hotel was going to charge me $20 more for parking. The room had no microwave, probably because there are restaurants in the hotel. Even Motel 6 has microwaves in their rooms. It was a good night's sleep though."
