"Our hostess Kristi was so friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts each morning were very nice. We were amazed how quiet our room was even though we were so close to many music clubs, restaurants, etc. We felt safe and took advantage of the streetcar which is walking distance."

"I stayed at Travelers New Orleans between March 2-March 5, 2005 during Mardi Gras. It reminded of a hostel with a private room with a full bathroom. It has a common kitchen, a common area and code entry to the building and the room. It was in a decent location of the "Garden District" about a 20-minute walk from the tourist areas of Bourdon Street and the French Quarter. It was only a few block from the parade route, and close to a pickup for the street car. The only recommendation I have is to...

"This was one of the best stays ever. I had no idea when I booked that it was a Bed and Breakfast!! It’s decorated to antique and stylish! The Street car running directly in front is and added bonus! Our concierge served us delicious breakfast options each morning! Although there should be non pork options. The are around the hotel is very lovely and friendly. "The Garden District B&B is an excellent location for a stay in New Orleans. It is in a great area for local shops and restaurants. It is only a short streetcar ride from the French quarter. Ray the host is super friendly. It is set in an old building but do not let that put you off as the rooms are clean , spacious and comfortable. "

"Beautiful small boutique hotel in great area near shops and restaurants and in walking distance of the French Quarter and the WWII Museum. The room had a sitting area and sleeping area.
