"Location was center of the city. It was everything we needed for my husband and I. We did not mind the small bedrooms for the price we paid, thought it was very reasonable!"

"The hotel is in an excellent location in old San Juan. El Morro Fort, restaurants and shopping are all close by. The hotel is beautiful but old. We had no running water or air conditioning our first day there. And no hot water our last day. The staff, especially Rachel, were very apologetic and did compensate us one night stay. The room was nice and big, but dark. We were on the ground floor in the corner of the building and could not open the large shuttered windows as we were right on the street. Being in a corner room meant we were actually on two roads which were noisy at night with people outside our windows and early in the morning with the sound of garbage trucks. The restaurant was in a beautiful enclosed courtyard, but the service was not good and the food mediocre. Avocado toast was made with avocado paste, not fresh avocados. The waitress was very inefficient and easily overwhelmed. I did go for coffee every morning and sat at the coffee bar. Alma was great and served a good cup of coffee. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and bar. Nothing fancy, but fun. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but if you are looking for a luxurious pampered stay, this is not for you."

"My boyfriend and I needed a room for a 1 night stay in old San Juan. Navona studios is in a super convenient location and a great price for a simple room. Check-in was easy even though there was no front desk. They sent over very detailed instructions so the process went smoothly. The room itself is small but clean and has all you need. I also appreciated the level of security to get to our room. There were a couple locked doors before even getting to our room. The Navona jewelry store next door was able to store our bags until 2pm after the 10am checkout. There are a ton of garages not too far away to park even though Navona doesn’t have on site parking. Overall, I’d stay at Navona studios again for the convenience and price"
