"The staff was excellent, so very helpful when I realized I left a jacket behind. They were able to send it ahead to where we were staying in a few days. Breakfast on the seventh floor was lovely both the food, view & staff. It was an about 15 to 20 minute walk into the old town but easy to do. We really enjoyed our time at the grand artist."

"Easy to navigate the city from this property. This is the old part of Bilbao and it is lovely. The mistake we made was to shop and tour the newer and trendier part of the city. The old city is a great experience and wonderful shops and restaurants. Anyway, loved the staff and the shower and beds were amazing. The hotel is small and well preserved. It is a little loud from the fifth floor facing the street, but we loved the stay and friendliness of all the people. Would love to come back...

They were also very helpful in recommending pintxos places and showing me where to find a laundromat nearby, which I really appreciated. Although I did not have a chance to try breakfast because I had to leave very early in the morning, the taxi arrangement to the airport was perfect. I would definitely recommend this accommodation."
