"We didn't make it in time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked great, as was the St Austell beer. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms in the annex next door. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic. "

"We like this hotel as the location is ideal for both the town centre and the Barbican with its choice of bars and restaurants. We did find a few things that could be improved but nothing that spoilt our stay 1) a bottle of water would be nice in the rooms 2) while our room had a coffee table not in an ideal location to be able to use it for cups as an ample supply of teas and coffees supplied or just to sit around. 3) Breakfast seemed a bit haphazard having to go to different rooms to get what...

"Overall the property was very clean and everything was brand new. Great location and close walk to every where. Only down fall was the kitchen didn't have as many pots and pans if you wanted to cook a family meal. The iron was not working but we got a replacement the next day. The ceiling in the bedroom upstairs was quite low and became quite warm. The property does not have air con except for a fan in the living room. We took an additional fan with us which helped. I would recommend this...

"Easy walking distance to Plymouth Train Station, and within walking distance of the waterfront area. Good towels/linens. Decent room size. One thing to keep in mind is that the rooms are NOT air conditioned and the windows barely open two inches. There is a ceiling fan and a small electric fan however. Wouldn’t want to be there during any kind of heat wave."
