"August 2025, family of 4 stayed in a two bedroom apartment on the second floor. First time in Portugal I really didn’t know where to choose to stay, mixed reviews about the accommodation but I just went with it. Lovely friendly staff, beautiful pool, great location and the apartment was clean, spacious, kitchen well equipped and the apartment cleaned daily. "A lovely 3 nights in the Velamar We had a room on the 2nd floor woth a sea view which was very nice. A lovely live singer around the pool on Friday afternoon she was really good. A great choice at breakfast on the roof top restaurant. All of the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Overall a lovely hotel and can recommend staying there. "
