My apartment had air conditioning on literally one of the hottest days in Europe! (20 degrees in the apartment!) Had the tasting and great breakfast there. "The hotel is modern and beautiful! The design choices blend into the natural setting of Bohinj. There is a menu of pillow choices too. We used the spa (Finnish and Turkish spas, salt room, pool), which was included in our stay. The included breakfast was the best we had in Slovenia. There is outdoor seating on the lawn overlooking the lake and a fire pit. Great jump off to Lake Bled as there is less traffic coming and going from Bohinj."

"Hotel Jezero is the grand old lady of Bohinj. It's been here a while and in some ways it shows (eg room doors are locked with proper keys, not electronically) but it's still a fabulous hotel. Step outside and you're right on the lake, location can't be beaten. The pool and sauna are lovely, the breakfast has a lot of choice and I really appreciated the seeds and fresh and dried fruit options. I got upgraded to a twin room and it was very spacious."

"The apartment itself was excellent: very clean, spacious, and well laid out. The kitchen was well equipped for basic meals, with essentials like washing-up liquid, sponge, cloth, tea towel, plus tea, coffee, salt, and pepper provided. Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the quality of the accommodation. We arrived mid-afternoon to find reception unattended and never found staff there despite returning several times before it closed at 8pm. There were people in the staff area, but...
