If I hadn’t planned a 4 night stay we would have left and went elsewhere. Other than the horrible experience with the check in lady everything else was perfect. "Always my 1st choice when staying in Galveston. Everything was what I’ve become use to when staying here except the pool. It was not clean this time. You could not even see your feet at the bottom. I know with peak season it’s probably hard to keep it clean. For families (especially with small children) a properly maintained pool is important. Miss the neon lighting at night too. "
