"Check in was 40 minutes later than expected due to the room not being ready ,obviously trying to run hotel with not enough staff ended up getting a different room than planned. We were going to a concert and had to cancel plans for eating out because we ran out of time . The room was ok but not a four star room ,clean but a very small and not comfortable bed and the hotel was dated. Didn’t use the facilities ie restaurant and bar or spa."

"Very comfortable bed, clean room, and good shower. No A/C which wasn't ideal on hottest week of year, but thankfully we got sun on morning so room wasn't unbearable come evening. The stand out at this hotel is the staff. Really friendly and very helpful."

"we stayed in room 4 and despite having a radiator this was centrally controlled by the main reception. we found this out on night 2 as when we went to bed on the first night we whacked the radiator on thinking that would be that but nope, cold as ice through the night. reception did sort but the room didnt get that warm so assuming the thermostatic valve wasnt fully operational. the shower screen squeegee at the bottom didnt properly fit and a gap up at the hinge point meant water escapes onto...

"We upgraded to a super king room, but felt that it was not worth it, and feel if that was an upgraded room, then i dread to see what a normal room would have looked like also there was an outside pipe which ran very heavily down the roof due to the bad weather."

"Tired buildings but comfortable beds and helpful staff. Sadly no one thought to inform reception about water being turned off or on going building works while bathrooms were being refurbished. Good breakfasts but very pricey bar."
