It was a lovely inn to stay in, the staff were an absolute delight. So helpful and kind. Dinner and breakfast was fresh, delicious and worth the cost. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Ambleside Salutation Hotel & Spa
Underwhelming. This is a very ordinary hotel, despite the hot tubs, pool and spa. The decor is vile, all dull browns with turquoise. In the “Troutbeck” room there is a nasty trip hazard into the bathroom. A stubbed toe was annoying but a cracked skull would have been more so. Tip: if it’s not fixed ...
