"Super warm and cozy lodging. Feels like a home away from home. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. My cottage was very clean but it is an older building in general so not spotless. Saw a couple little insects throughout my stay (like centipedes) but with the building being older and made of wood, I expected this. "The property was very welcoming, the staff were so friendly. Overall, environment around the hotel was very nice and pleasant. Wish the air condition worked a little better, and the beds were a little bit better. But overall, I would definitely stay again due to the location and the price. The peacock, cats and roosters added to the adventure!"

"SOOOOO loud. I could hear everything upstairs, outside, and next door. I literally heard the lady next door battling her hiccups. Worst sleep of our family’s life. When anyone in the complex uses the bathroom it’s so loud it sounds like a waterfall is in our room. Good location, but don’t do it. There was hair in the tub, in the beds - gross! AND the bathtub was clogged so it just puddled in the tub while you shower."

"We went here on a family vacation and it was amazing. The beach is great! Smaller waves and excellent sand, with warm water! The pool was also great with warm water and the hot tubs actually worked! Not something you always see in tropical climates. Super close to the airport with a free shuttle, and no airplane noise at all. Walkable to many restaurants and shops. Highly recommended!"

"The property and beach was nice. The beach was a little rough for my 4 year old, but the pool was good. The Rum Fire restaurant was very good, while the other one was okay. Staff was either friendly or polite but seemed over it."

"All good, good service. I would love another restaurant option inside the resort, since this area of the island doesn’t offer too much options. They only have one restaurant by the pool, would be very nice to have another option and maybe the closing time be a little bit more late. Everything in the island closes at 9pm, I would love that the resort your staying offer you the option to have food available until 10pm for example. Other than that the resort is beautiful!"

"We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! The pool bar had some yummy food, and good drinks. The sunrise yoga was fantastic as well. We stayed here...

"Amazing hotel almost like in White Lotus. We greatly enjoyed the lagoon. Hawaiian performances in the lobby throughout the day. Poipu beach has many turtles at sun set."
