"Cockroach on 2nd floor. Bug in my room. Carpet from the 90s. Bathroom not clean. I asked for a room near the elevators and he put me at the exit door. Very disappointing considering I had stayed multiple nights. I won't be back. Staff unfriendly."

"I have stayed in a number of Hampton Inn and this property needs to be better maintained. Unfortunately we had to change rooms due to a non-working TV and due to a key lockout due to a power surge from a storm. The staff responded very quickly reprogramming room keys for new and existing customers. All in all, the staff was expedient and friendly. Please improve the breakfast selection and quantity on the weekend. It was nearly gone at 8:30 in the morning."

"The property is a bit dated but not enough to disrupt the quality of the stay. The highlight of the property is Keri and Precious! We were there on a very, very busy week and they worked so hard the entire time we were there. Even when people came to them with hiccups or complaints they did their best to remedy guests concerns (even those that were being unkind). "Mary @ Front Desk was more than just that, she is a superstar and made us feel important and not invisible. She went above and beyond to help us when our reservation was canceled even after we were checked in.... it was a nightmare, but she helped us immensely. I will recommend The Spark to anyone traveling in Waldorf! We will also be back in the future."
