Area is similar to areas close to central station in any big city. It is convenient to go to other parts of Rome by metro or walking. Possible to walk to city centre in 20-30 minutes. "Very nice place to stay while visiting Rome. The location is right across the street from the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica and in walking distance to all the major sites. The morning breakfast was very good and the roof top restaurant and bar were amazing. Keep in mind you need to reserve a spot for the restaurant or bar since it is very popular. We will be back for sure. "

"Quarto espaçoso e confortável (estávamos em 3 pessoas e a cama extra ficava num quarto conjugado). Tinha inclusive uma varanda. Excelente localização: perto da Termini, mas numa região simpática e agradável, com boas opções para café da manhã e jantar. Proximo à Via Cavour e Coliseu: fizemos tudo à pé. Bom custo-beneficio. Ja estive várias vezes em Roma e recomendo."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Doria Palace! The room was decently sized and very clean! The hotel itself is very small, but the staff was great and super helpful! The only note is there are a couple of stairs you must climb with luggage before you reach the elevator. Once do you reach the elevator, it only fits one person at a time, so just something to keep in mind."

The only things I didn't like were that one morning we weren't notified that the water was off, so I couldn't shower (the water finally came back on later, just as I had gotten ready and was leaving the hotel), and another day the elevator wasn't working. "Friendly staff with great communication Rooms are not sound proof, we were next to one of the common lounge areas and heard everything as if they were in our room, also every footstep and beeping of door codes being entered. The shower grout needs a good scrub It's other wise a lovely modern hotel, conveniently located to the station and walking distance to all the tourist attractions. Has air-conditioning"
