"We stopped by for a short overnight with our little. When we got the shuttle and checked in we were told taxis do not go to that hotel and we would have to catch the shuttle. I wish I knew this ahead of time as they put us on a 2:15 shuttle for a 5:30 flight. Only spent about three hours at the hotel because of it. Not the staffs fault, place seemed great otherwise. Live and learn. "

"Very nice, modern, and clean hotel. Unfortunately, it was quite overcrowded during our stay due to kids attending hockey tournaments. There was a lot of noise with kids running up and down the stairs and in the hallways. Despite that, we still slept okay, but it wasn’t the most relaxing experience. I would consider staying again, especially during the summer when it may be quieter.”"

"We stayed at the Forth Lock the night before an early morning flight. The B&B is close to the airport and the Resturant is a great place to eat. The rooms are efficient and being able to have a nice dinner in the same building is a great feature. I can see us booking the whole "house" if we were doing something in Halifax."

"The bed and breakfast was nice and quiet and warm....was a pleasant little vacation stay. Darrell was very welcoming and kind and even called earlier in the day to let me know his wife was sick and wouldn't be able to cook breakfast (as she would need to stay away from spreading germs while she healed) and asked if I wanted to cancel. I thought that was very thoughtful to give me the option to cancel and provided a breakfast gift card, but I felt safe to still stay. I didn't meet lovely Marla...

From the quaint little kitchen, beautiful bathroom, coziness of the fireplace to endless nights of stargazing through the huge dome window, from the comfort of the king size bed, this place was everything and more than we had expected!"
