"This is our second stay at the Firth Hotel and really enjoyed it again. The rates are very competitive and cheerful as well as not breaking the bank are massive pluses. The rooms are clean, lovely sea view, very quiet, staff make check in easy. It's peaceful and a lovely staycation destination. Rooms despite being budget have a fan and a fridge as well as hairdryer, iron and decent pillows. The Smugglers bar is not far away with comfy seats and friendly locals and reasonable drink and food...

"We were greeted at the door by Liz (the owner along with her partner Lee) and immediately felt very welcomed. She gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant within walking distance and it turned out to be a lovely suggestion. The home is well kept! At breakfast the next morning (which was quite tasty) we chatted with Lee and he gave us helpful perspectives on the area around us. We would have loved to have spent more than just one night!"

"Lovely small and homely hotel .Had a comfortable bed and enjoyed waking up to the view out to sea.The toilet and shower could do with being upgraded but was still clean and acceptable.The staff were excellent and very friendly and the evening meal and breakfast we had was very tasty and well prepared.I would especially recommend the Cullen skink. We enjoyed a walk along the beach on a lovely evening which we needed after our very delicious and filling evening meal."

"This property is in need of significant maintenance. As we walked through the front entrance, we noticed that part of the roof above the entryway was missing, which made for a poor first impression. The front desk clerk was friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the kindness shown during check-in. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing.
