"I stayed at the small single room. It was very noisy outside because of the vehicles. Couldn’t sleep until I bought the earplugs after two nights. Breakfast was simple but couldn’t complain at this price. Staff was helpful. "

"I booked for the location as I had a short overnight layover in Porto, and was pleasantly surprised by the comfort, size and cleanliness of the room – great value overall. Plus the bonus unexpected lovely view! The bed was large and comfy, it seemed freshly painted and was calm and quiet given its central location, and the later regular checkout (12 noon) made it possible to go out for the morning and come back and have a quick rest and freshen up before checking out. They let me keep my luggage...

"I was never given the key to my room on the day I arrived; I waited until 2:45 PM trying to contact the "manager," so I booked a room at another hotel (Hotel da Bolsa) instead. After that, I received persistent calls from the manager, who was annoyed that I hadn't waited until he felt like giving me the key... a very bad experience."
