Beautiful room decor, amazing river and plaza views. we enjoyed the street musicians and vibe below with windows open. Still quiet enough to sleep at night with windows and shutters closed. Breakfast was delicious, lots of choices plus warm fresh bread. Wish we could have stayed longer

As soon as you arrive, they ask if you would like a glass of port wine. Our room feast, the river, and all the action. On the second floor, they had an outstanding dinner and breakfast. One of the top chefs in Portugal. Only seven rooms and an elevator. Very quiet at night and yet you’re right in the hub up of everything.

Very good hotel, a little small but cozy, my only advise is that you are not going to find the entrance from the street, is to the side of the building behind a restaurant of the corner.

This hotel is very cool. One of the most special boutique hotels you will ever experience. The room has great views outside. The bathroom is spacious. The owners have thought of every aspect you will want for.your stay. The breakfast is especially delicious and well crafted and to eat it out on the veranda gives you special views of the river and action below. The bed is comfortable and easy to rest well .

This place was amazing! The staff took care of us like we have never experienced. They were helpful to all aspects of our stay, friendly and made us feel really special. The location of the hotel was ideal. Just outside of City Center in Alfama, everything was not too far away. We were able to walk from the hotel to many sites, including the Lisbon Cathedral of Saint Mary Major, São Jorge Castle, The Arch, some parks and many great restaurants, I would consider the AlmaLusa Alfama the best place to stay, and where I will stay next time I visit Lisbon.

And the restaurant, the breakfast, the dinner, the view.. just amazing, the whole design in every single corner is amazing! And a big thanks to all super friendly people/staff I ve met in the hotel! Gran Cruz House is an exceptional place to stay, perfectly situated right on the Douro River. The location is unbeatable, with everything you could want or need just a short walk away. Breakfast was superb, and I highly recommend having dinner at the restaurant as well—the food was delicious. Be sure to sample their outstanding port wine too! The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making our stay truly memorable. I highly recommend Gran Cruz House to anyone visiting Porto!

Spectacular Boutique hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed balcony room overlooking Doro River. Room and bathroom were perfect. Andre and staff were exceptional. Breakfast was “to order” from a menu and they even provided a breakfast box to enjoy on way to airport when we had to check out early.
