"Excellent location with walking distance to the train station. There is a small kitchen with utensils in the room which is super useful. Room is rather clean and quiet, seldom I can hear the train into the station but no big deal. Only issue is the AC can’t be turned off so you can feel the fan blowing your head throughout the night."

"Excellent location! Walking distance to train and buses to get into Venice. Did not use the restaurant in the hotel, so cannot comment on the quality. All staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again."

"This is a modern hotel close to the bus stop to Venice and a short walk to the train station. Very pleasant staff. It's about a half hour walk into the pedestrian area of Mestre which I would recommend if you come back from Venice early enough to enjoy it."

"Many thanks to Frederico and staff for a wonderful stay at Casa Villa Gardenia! Everyone was so helpful with directions and recommendations. There is a grocery store nearby with reasonable prices and lovely pizzeria where we went for a lovely dinner. The breakfast served was very substantial. Clean rooms with modern bathroom. Great area, close to train to Venice. Would stay there again!"

"Ich möchte dieses Hotel unbedingt bewerten. Wir waren zu dritt für eine Nacht mit Frühstück. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Selten sowas gehabt. Leider ging der Fernseher nicht auf unserem Zimmer. Es wurde uns aber nach sehr kurzer Zeit ein neues Zimmer angeboten. Mega:-) Das Frühstück war etwas mager. Jaffe aber sehr gut. Ich würde dieses Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub jederzeit wieder buchen. Viele Grüße aus Bayern"

"Lovely little hotel. The owner was so friendly and helpful and I felt really welcomed. I slept well and the breakfast was a welcome extra. I hope to come back one day! Short walk from the train station and it's so easy to get the bus across to Venice."

"島内ではなく対岸のホステルです。 相部屋だけど綺麗だし良い感じで女性のみの部屋も選べたのがよかったです。 一泊3500円と破格だったので安さとのバランス的にはとても良いと思います。 一階にDJブースがあり若者が多めで少しうるさいけど個人的には許容範囲でした。 部屋の中の荷物を入れるカゴをロックするのにシンプルな南京錠があると安心です。 太い自転車用などのロックは入らないので注意です。"

"Great location about 3 minutes from the train station, very good for travelling into Venice which was €1.50 on the train and took about 12 minutes with trains leaving every 10 minutes, Staff were very friendly and allowed us to leave our bags at the hotel while we took a boat trip around the islands Easy to get the No15 bus from outside of the station to the Airport Definitely recommend the MARCIANO PUB MARGHERA about 5 minutes walk away from the hotel"

"Previous reviews had me worried but this is a great hotel in an ideal location for travelling to Venice and further afield. Buses and trains within two minute walk and good breakfast. Staff were so helpful with checkin times very flexible and rooms are comfortable. I could find no fault in the hotel. "
