Hotel was excellent, we were able to walk to bus, train and ferry as well into the heart of Sorrento. Despite being right in the centre, the hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Hotel was very clean, rooms very nice

I find some hotels in this bracket a bit pretentious, but that wasn't the case here. The manager (I assume) was really friendly when we checked in and made us feel very welcome. The rest of the staff were very friendly too. The large roof terrace has a nice bar and fantastic views towards Vesuvius. There is also a nice ground floor bar with roadside terrace. This Hotel is situated on the Piazza Della Vitoria with great sea views across to mount vesuvius be sure to get ask for a suite as they are corner rooms and look out across the bay of Naples. We dined one evening at the Hotel, and to my surprise we found the cost to be cheaper than outside , the buffet Breakfast was of course very typical of a 4 star Hotel, plentiful. I spent two nights in Naples. This was a very nice hotel, close to the famous opera house, Teatro di San Carlo. I had a comfortable spacious room with a great power shower. The Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous hotel excellent location main entrance in the main square of Sorrento close to all shops and restaurants. A little hidden Gem in the heart of the oldest part of the City. Outside is full of the hustle & bustle of narrow streets and busy piazzas. Inside the hotel is peaceful and tranquil. Quiet location yet easy access to good restaurants, ferry and bus/train station. Lovely variety of hot and cold food available for breakfast. The panoramic view and attentive service adds to the pleasure.

This was our 2nd visit to Naples and this hotel. The hotel is ldeally located in a very nice area of Naples, close to the seafront, ferry and public transport. It's located very close to boutique and designer shopping off all types, lots of bars and restaurants. Stayed for 1 week in October 2016 on a bed and breakfast basis. Chose hotel for its proximity both to the facilities of Sorrento and the outlook over the Bay of Naples. A 5 - 10 minute level walk leads you to the many bars, restaurants and shops that the town has to offer. It's also close to the bus and Circumvesuviana train stations from which the city of Naples, tours to Mount Vesuvius, the Amalfi coast and the ruins at Pompei and Herculaneum can be easily (and cheaply) accessed. We stayed here for one night on our way to the airport after a week on the Amalfi Coast. It is an excellent base to explore the historic heart of Napoli, set as it is on the 4th floor of an old building in the gritty Centro Storico. These really are luxury suites - an oasis in the midst of bustling Naples. Minutes from the main train station and a 15 minute walk to the port for Capri. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants nearby. The rooms are really spacious with quality decor and furnishings. All of the staff are really helpful. Nothing is too much bother. Taxi from airport was €27, hotel got us one back for a fixed €19 fee, might be worth phoning them beforehand if you want to taxi in from airport and maybe get cheaper rate? If there are 6 stars I would give it to Grand Hotel Vesuvio. It has old world charm and elegance with amazing staff that were professional, kind and friendly. The roof top for sunset apertivo is AMAZING. The bedding was top rate, something I am very fussy about. Would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

Before our holiday we received emails from the hotel giving us excellent advice and information for getting to the hotel. Bus from right outside the airport is definitely the best way to get there and it takes you to the train station in Sorrento. Hotel lovely, breakfast are fab. Staff really acomodating. I stayed in room 16 which is noisy as it's by reception. I would ask for a roo. On 2.nd floor at the back if you want quiet as rooms overlooking square would be noisy. Definitely go back.
