"Stayed 1 night whilst visiting a local theatre. Perfect location to walk to restaurants and bars and the theatres. Parking across the road is £9 a night. Modern, bright clean hotel, typical Hilton style. Room clean Good shower in bathroom with toiletries Large comfortable bed Good aircon We slept very well Would use again if in the area"

"The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment, and there are some areas that are not yet complete and not started yet, with a noticeable paint odor. The room itself was refurbisht clean nacely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. However, the bathroom could benefit from refurbishment as there were several visible "snags" that detracted from its overall appearance. It is ensuit. This room is on the 1st floor. The Kitshen is shared and is on another floor. There is double bed, so technically you can have 2 people sleeping on the same bed. "I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process"

"The rooms are clean and tidy but the tv does not work on what I call normal tv you have to try and download BBC IPLAYER OR NETFLIX"

"Not so clean. Staff ok but one over charged me 3 quids for food, drinks, no reason given. Very noisy housekeeping, they bang doors, chat and play loud music outside your rooms. "

"Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best."

"Filty from the entrance to the kitchen and toilet. I coukd not have a shower or use the kitchen. The room is fine. The advert says private bathroom but it was shared. I had to go downstairs to the back of the kitchen to get to the toilet. Wont come back. "

"This hotel has no air conditioning, which made my room like a sauna, the shower was really weak, they also charge for parking. The breakfast was decent, as we're the staff. Overall a dated building that has had a bit of a makeover, but no air conditioning on a hot day/night I would not stay here."

"The host was very kind and helpful. The room was small for three people, and hot. It was right on the road so we had to keep the window closed all night. Perhaps an upstairs room would be more comfortable. The stay was certainly fine, but quite simple/basic."
