"Sam ( Manager), was very welcoming ,approachable and knowledgeable about the hotel and area. The bedroom was immaculate , there were plenty of warm drink provions, soft towels and toiletries provided. Our breakfast foods were fresh& tasty- there was a variety of cereals if you wishes, cooked breakfast, warm and cold drinks. Parking is at the front of the hotel and only £6 per night. "Very clean comfortable well maintained rooms in motel like buildings around the main hotel. Nice breakfast. Good value. Highly recommended. Staff helpful. After 11 pm reasonably easy to find your room and get in but no one around routinely. "

"Wonderful B&B with stunning antique furniture, endless animal ornaments & pictures. Hidden down a narrow Devon track & a working farm with countryside views. Ours was a very comfortable room with balcony. Super hospitality from Alison & good breakfast. We enjoyed drive to Exmouth & Summer Cross on opposite semis of the Ex estuary. "

"A 300+yr old building which had some really quirky areas that added not subtracted from the overall ambience. Well located to town centre and beach. Staff numbers had been reduced due to a recent tragedy but credit to those remaining - especially the front of house/ receptionist & cook who worked like a trojan (1 man). "
