"Contacted the hotel a week before the stay and then a day before the stay to request non-feather pillows (asthmatic travellers) but unfortunately feather pillows on arrival. Took over 5 hours to get these changed on checkin day, expect better at a Hilton. Reception bar area being refurbished so no usable communal area during the stay, which was only communicated after booking and paying (not a big deal but it is an inconvenience when traveling with a child). Breakfast buffet good but not...

"Arrived at 12pm after our flight from Glasgow before our cruise the next day. Room wasn't ready so staff were able to store our luggage which was good as let us go explore. There were three people serving but rather than serve the next customer in line, they were calling out customers checking out which was a bit frustrating. One of our rooms wasn't what we had reserved also, so to compensate us we were given breakfast. There were just a few niggles that added up to frustration. Room 1 was for...

"The spa was the main reason we booked this hotel and it was VERY disappointing. There was so much sand in the big “therapy pool” and the water was cold and dirty. There is no reason this indoor pool should be full of sand, just means the water is dirty. Their “experience showers” were a joke, dark little cubicles that sprayed cold water then lukewarm then turned off. One was broken. The salt room wasn’t even turned on, the button did nothing. My massage was ruined because children were allowed...
