"I felt safe with the security part, having to show your room key, especially in the wee hours. Staff was phenomenal. I enjoyed the $15 daily credit at the market"

"I was the first one to say how disappointed I was the last time I stayed here and it was with good reason. Similarly though, my stay this past weekend, despite all the challenges of huge crowds with World Cup, Pride and a major trade show in town, this property delivered. In doing so, they made sure I had a room that, while small, was clean, in good repair, had the elements that were promised and even had a view. Staff was friendly and helpful and even the bellman remembered me from previous stay in a friendly way. The hotel lacks many amenities and its lobby and sorta restaurant lack polish, but it's not awful. The property could do more with its sizable front patio, including maybe a small portable bar for a happy hour or something. It is well located, even if it is on an unusual block, which makes it easy to get around town. At the end of the day, I want a room that is not a shambles, is clean and with service that is empathetic and helpful. That all occurred this time and I would stay there again under these circumstances. Thanks"

"Loved our large two queen bed 8th floor north tower room, with kitchenette. The staff was great, the room was quiet, comfortable and spotless and the A/c was more than adequate for the temps in 80s to near 90. The KTown location was ideal, next to MidTown but without the crowds and noise of Midtown. Empire State Bldg just a couple of blocks away, walking distance to many things, quick access to buses and subway. Housekeeping was excellent and my daughter particularly appreciated that her stuffed animal was always carefully posed on her bed when we returned at end of day. Lovely little hotel and I would not hesitate to stay again."
