"Very clean room and excellent hard working staff. Breakfast was very good. Some parts of the hotel and rooms were a bit dated, such as the TVs and air con turned off from October to March. But otherwise all in a good condition and perfectly acceptable hotel"

"Lovely hotel and extremely clean. We were in the club house room which is in a separate building from the main hotel. The room was very clean and modern. My only complaint was there were 2 small bottles of water put out for us like most hotels do but they were half full and the seals were broken so were not new. Also they provide fresh milk in a fridge in the reception area which is really nice but the one I had which was well in date was sour so I think the fridge was not cold enough. Also the ice machine was not working. I did mention this to the reception and it was all rectified immediately. Also the hand wash and shower gel bottles in our room were empty but I brought my own so that was fine. I would suggest that housekeeping do a more thorough check on these things in the future as it is little things like this that can let a lovely hotel like this down. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were delicious and excellent staff. Although we had a few small problems we would definitely stay here again as the standard is very high. "

"We stayed at the Villa for 2 weeks. The staff are exceptionally friendly and can’t do enough for you especially Caitlin the Reception Manager and all her Team and also the lovely bar staff Ian and Gosia sorry there were others too but I failed to get their names. The rooms are very clean again the cleaning staff are extremely friendly. The food we ate in the restaurant was very enjoyable. We stayed in the disabled room which is a little tired and in need of updating but the new owners are already in the process of renovating the rooms. The hotel is dog friendly and is set in beautiful grounds. Would definitely recommend this hotel 5* "

"The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The bedding and towels looked virtually brand new, soft, white, fabulous, spare pillows available for those who need them. Despite being next to a pub and on the main road to Blackpool, I couldn't hear a thing from outside the room, Bliss! The staff (when I eventually found them - no-one on reception on any of the 3 days I was there), were lovely - very kind and courteous, going out of their way to help me park near the entrance (I have a Blue Badge and cannot walk far), and carrying my cases up the stairs. (No lift). Refreshments were topped up every day. Two (very slight) negatives: 1. The furnishings looked very tired, edges of furniture chipped, carpet a bit grubby - time for a refurb perhaps? 2. The shower is over the bath; although it had a non-slip surface directly in front of the shower, it didn't extend far enough to stand on whilst exiting, so a bit nerve wracking! The shower itself was lovely and hot, and plenty of pressure. If all you want, like me, is a clean, comfortable room to stay in overnight, then I would definitely recommend this hotel. "
