"Really bad experience"

"The hotel's access is a bit mysterious. When we reached to the correct place to check-in, we were introduced to the staff at that moment who made us feel that we are a burden on them. We arrived earlier than our check-in time and we were okay with waiting for the start of check-in time. However, we were also curious if we could do early check-in, and when we asked for availability, the staff working at that moment first showed horrific emotions as if we asked for something impossible, and then they started mumbling in their own native language. Whenever we were trying to have a conversation with them, they always cut us off and spoke too fast as if they have no time and they have to catch a train. After some time when they found a room for us to check-in early, they acted as they are doing a favour on us. All in all it was a very bad experience and it ruined our excitement to explore Manchester."

"Clean room "

"Excellent value for money. We stayed in a double room which had a huge TV, comfortable bed, sink and lots of storage. Only 20 mins from our airport parking but if you speak to Peter the manager he can give you advice on parking locally for less. Peter was very friendly and we really rated the breakfast. Highly recommended."

"Mould everywhere, nowhere to hang clothes, only one working plug in the room. Sink blocked. Shower had mould too. Grim little hovel. "

"The room & bedding were very clean. Beds are quite hard but ok for our 1 night stay. No lift available but we were only on the 2nd floor with not much luggage. Quite a distance from city centre, about a £15 uber ride, but we booked late so not much other availability in that price range. Reception staff very nice & helpful. Overall a satisfactory stay."

"Host cancelled on day of travel - offered alternative which did not work for our needs: Refused to cancel through Hotels.com claiming they would charge him 250.00. Then he made a partial offer of refund of 83.00, we had paid 120.20 on platform: He then refused to honour refund when Hotels.com contacted him: He also refused to use the Booking platform message system, which is there as record.
