"Great location in the centre of Aberdeen. Welcoming staff. Very comfortable, clean and modern room, super quiet. While we didn’t take advantage of it as we were near the end of our trip, the onsite laundry including soap was a great extra amenity. Nice breakfast"

Bed was very comfortable and room had good amenities micro wave, fridge , safe, nice selection of teas etc. breakfast was a bit disappointing we booked in for 9am food was cold and some items overcooked . We would consider visiting again"

The lady on reception was fantastic and upgraded us to a super king size bedroom after me explaining I go for surgery Monday and it was a break before then so she tried to make us more comfortable. "No amenities and no one to speak with. I received text messages & messages through Expedia from hotel, yet when I reached out in this same fashion there was no response. The property is clean. Somewhat noisy area, although close to most things. Not truly a hotel. "

"The Mercure is an older and I suspect much grander hotel at one time. It has a sense of opulence about it with wide staircases, high ceilings and stained glass windows, however there are also signs of aging, i.e. worn carpets, old windows. I think it adds to the charm.
