"FOOD IS EXCELLENT"

"Property is great and pool is amazing! It’s about an hour and a half outside of Puerto Princessa, but we enjoyed that. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Our biggest complaint is the service at the restaurant. It takes forever to order and get your food. For example, it was not unusual for us to wait 30-40 mins to get our drinks and then another hour to get food. Because there are no other options on the property, you have to wait. We ended up eating at the resort next door and it was absolutely amazing service and food. Also, we were assured all the water is purified, however, my whole family got sick from drinking the water they provide in their glass refillable bottles. I am not convinced the water was purified enough for our North America stomachs to handle. Overall, I would say the resort is lovely and the staff are helpful. They just need to improve on the restaurant service and I would suggest working on their purification system if they aren’t going to provide sealed bottled water to guests."

Views from every room are ofpalm tree'd unpopulated beach with gentle slope.Pool is Iridescent blue and by far one of the most gorgeous. "We came from Puerto Princesa and are now in El Nido. The hotels in both of these places (for the same money!) are outstanding which made us realise HOW BAD this one was. We stayed for 2 nights and during this time we had no hot water or the housekeeping done. Appreciate Port Barton has more of a rustic charm so the price should reflect it. This was nothing more than an old outdated static caravan. Breakfast was terrible. Another table were complaining about a 70 minute delay despite ordering the night before. We didn’t have anything day 2 and were pleased to get out of there. "
