"We were not allowed to stay at the hotel on because of facility issues with heating systems either for not having enough staff or due to off season conditions and end of season. The beach, outdoor pool, soccer field looked great. They moved us to Joli Park Hotel in the city but that was just to sleep for the night and their pool was non functional either. They are keeping their property available in Expedia while they were not open for the season just to move the guest in the other hotels in...

"What a gem of a place. Right in amongst the hustle and bustle of the old town but on a quiet street that you can wander back to after some incredible food. The room was fantastic, the breakfast incredible and the terrace was a stunning place to take in the sunset. Can’t recommend this place enough. Spotlessly clean and comfy beds. A great place to experience Gallipoli and all it has to offer. "

"We had a wonderful 2 week stay here. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. It was very central to all the attractions and restaurants but was quiet at night. The staff were lovely and friendly & any questions were answered promptly. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Amazing stay at Palazzo Castriotta. Our host did everything to make our stay magical with recommendations for beaches, exceptional places, restaurants... a big wow. We stayed 4 days. The family room was impeccable and what can we say about the homemade lunch to be had in the garden and the lovely lady who served the coffee and welcomed us. "We had a great stay. We had an issue with our room the first night but the hotel found an alternative and offered us dinner to compensate. The hotel is lovely, well kept and the pool area, whilst small, is a real find. The services are limited at the hotel, but you can order drinks which are collected from the sister property just up the road. After our stay I realised I’d left my AirPods which the hotel located and sent back to me, which I was very appreciative of. I’d not hesitate to stay here...

    "Hotel is in nice location on the beach. However some staff were a little standoffish & not very attentive. Solo traveller rooms are ok size, beds are small singles not very comfortable. Showers are exceptionally small, I have been on cruise ships with bigger shower space. When door is closed there is very little room to manouvre or wash properly. Location of single rooms right next to lifts, therefore guest movement, children screaming, running along corridor made for a very restless stay. Very little in the way of food and beverage services and due to remote location, car is needed to drive to nearby restaurants and bars most of which 10-15 minutes away. Buffet dinner at hotel is €35 per day. Sorry but I would not stay here again. "
