They said oh yes this has been a problem on our websight we have asked them to take the false advertisement down but they haven’t for a year now. "I wasn’t able to stay at the property for personal reasons. I called directly to make the cancellation and the person who answered the phone at the hotel told me that it was up to Expedia to refund my payment (I had prepaid the full 3 nights) I called expedia.com and they tried contacting the hotel and explaining I wasn’t able to stay at the hotel and that I needed my refund at least for the following 2 nights (just keep one night’s deposit as penalty not the full 3 nights) it was impossible....

"At first, I thought the musty smell was coming from bed sheets. But then I realized it was actually from the mattress and the bed sheets. And the smell still hasn’t gone away from my body."

"My experience at Motel 6 was extremely disappointing. The room was not clean when we arrived — there was a bad smell, stains on the sheets, and the bathroom looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a long time. The overall condition of the motel felt run-down and poorly maintained. The customer service was also frustrating. "The stay was ok, and that is the best I can say. I wouldn't say it was bad, but I wouldn't say it was good. The refrigerator did not work properly and was dripping water on the inside, which the maintenance person said all of them are like that. Also, the shower was a little dingy. I also made some requests that were ignored, so be aware that even if you have a valid reason, like health issues, that you run the risk of having those requests ignored."

"The staff was nice to let us check in earlier by an hour. The check in time of 5:00 PM is anyway quite late as most hotels have it much earlier. The bathroom could have been better, didn’t have hand washing soap. The shower door was creaky. The bed was comfy but didn’t look like a king size bed. Considering the very high room rate per night, the hotel is rather over priced. The hotel is in a good location and close to university."
