"Just an fyi suggestion- if you are a pet friendly hotel- which you are and thank you, perhaps you should have a doggy bag station so that people have somewhere to discard their dog's business. Some pet owners aren't as considerate as others, and left their pet's mess for others to step over. I know that's an added cost to the hotel. But it would be well worth it. "

"Found a couple things the cleaning staff forgot when we checked into our room including a a sock on the couch, food crumbs in the open areas of the floor, and food under the tables/chairs/sink. We had 2 kids crawling around the floors finding all of this. It was gross. "

"The water in both the showers and the spa area(hot tub) don't get hot. The pool was occupied by a British Swimming School class so there was no swimming in the regular pool, mind you it was a Tuesday early afternoon. There was no remote to the tv and so it wouldn't turn on. The heater in the room did not really heat the room, even at the highest settings. While in the (not hot)hot tub, me and my partner were bothered by the worker whom worked the cashier and greeted people. She walked around like a patrol officer and had the audacity to call my partner to the door to "mind the children" as if we were being inappropriate, on our vacation, which we paid for, by being close to each other's face. I felt so disrespected and annoyed. The only genuinely positive thing was the coffee bar in the morning after checkout. "

"I arrived on an evening with storms and heavy fog. The front desk clerk was mildly friendly and provided almost no detail upon check in. Like that the cable had been knocked out and my TV didn't work. She advised I just unplug to reset. That didn't work. I could never connect to secure wifi service and the staff was not helpful with this. My shower door would not stay closed. Even with a washcloth jammed in there- I gave up. The room guide was missing. As a property, I was so disappointed to find no restaurants nearby. I won't be staying at this property again."

"worst customer service that I’ve ever encountered. Misleading information between staff caused great The customer is put in the middle without regard to circumstances. Needless to say, I will no longer be using this hotel in the future. Due to extreme weather conditions and tornadoes in Michigan, flights were canceled and travel plans had to be adjusted. They were inflexible and charged me for one night when it wasn’t used. Hotels.com made the original reservation and reached out to the administrative staff at the Kingsley Inn, who still stood firm and did not offer a room credit for a future use. I was not looking for my money back. I was simply trying to rebook the room in the future. I’m sure that there are other hotels that would appreciate my business."
