"The room was clean if not a little dated. The hotel itself is very century located and fantastic for nighttime walk to the Bunce. The general facilities are really good, they’ve got a fantastic sauna steam room hot bath. I’d recommend it for a day to see the sites of Shanghai."

"The hotel is misleading regarding the views you see from the room. Almost of hotel photos on Hotel.com show beautiful skyscrapers views from the hotel. In fact, there are only few rooms on the 7th floor that you can see the view. The remaining of the room from 8th to 15th floors have no city view, there are only internal view meaning facing opposite the other sides of its own building. After I brought this issue up, they change the rooms for me to be on the 7th floor. If the city view is important for you, then you can pay extra or book at the different hotel. Most of the staff are great. One door man staff ignored us and hid in a room immediately and did not help us with luggages. We had to wait until another staff was available to help us out. Though we enjoyed dinning at the hotel. The food was delicious. (not breakfast buffet). "

"This hotel is in a very convenient location. There is a direct metro line going to airport and high speed rail station. The hotel is a half block away from metro station. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful."
