"Staff are excellent. Property is old and dated. We had carpet in our room which was very dirty and dusty. We asked the room cleaners to vacuum it and they did but it was still dusty. Not much to do around hotel but buses are good and can get a taxi. Breakfast is boring. It’s the same everyday. Wish they would learn from the blu radissons in Asia and Africa about breakfasts."

"This was our 3rd visit to the Pergola. Love the location away from the main road and the view from the hotel across to the church and Gozo in the background is amazing. We had breakfast included and the choice was excellent. The hotel is part of a group called G3 and we have eaten at several of their restaurants and the standard is also excellent. Won’t be our last visit either."

"The location of this property is truly excellent. It is a boutique hotel and does it very well. Breakfast is wonderful. Location is great. It is near some very scenic overlooks of the harbor. "This hotel is truly exceptional, from the moment we checked in to (sadly) leaving, it was an absolutely perfect stay. Staff and owner were all gorgeous people - so helpful, friendly and chilled. Bed was super comfy, hotel itself is beautifully bohemian and traditionally Maltese and amenities were a bonus - loved the rooftop bar with its stunning views. "On arrival as we were checking in we were brought a lovely cold local drink which was very refreshing. We were surprised to discover our Junior Suite was on an Executive floor, which meant we were able to use the Executive lounge while waiting for our room to be ready which was very pleasant as we were tired from our journey. This is a more quitet part of the island, so not really within walking distance of much, but the ubers & taxis were reasonably priced around 20 to 25 euro would get you in to Valetta."
