"The hotel is very beautiful yet very old. Our room was excellent in every way and was completely silent at all hours. The staff were delightful and very helpful. The hotel had a very nice 24 hour accessible lounge with fruit and fancy coffees. The location was perfect with numerous shops and restaurants within a very short walk. The architecture of the area was excellent. Quebec City and this hotel rivals the European cities we have visited."

"Very nice clean boutique hotel! Staf are very friendly and attentive. Every day a service staff member comes by the room with any amenities such as water, toiletries etc. Unlimited bottles water available. Pool is more of s hot tub but with a beautiful balcony view. Rooms are clean, shower shampoo gel and conditioner is good quality, overhead shower is great. Beds are good, small desk for work space. Lower floors get more noise. Very good hotel for price and location."

There are a few smaller issues we found: - The hotel is listed as 5 stars but at least right now, it really only consists of the rooms - The restaurant is closed and there is construction going on. "First, this is a very old building likely a house or sn apartment building remodeled for a hotel use. NO ELEVATOR should have been mentioned in the property description. This would have influenced our decision and those like us in their 70’s. Second, very unusual planning of the bathroom particularly regarding sink. Bathroom door wouldn’t close.
