"My room was super clean and tidy with everything you may need. All the staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. Private parking just outside my room. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. I ate dinner here which was simply supeb"

"I think this was the best Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in, and we’ve stayed in a lot world wide . Great welcome, room spacious and clean. A nice area to sit in in the evening, food was available and lots of people were eating, we just had a glass of wine . Breakfast was really good, great selection, fresh and good variety . Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom. "Beautiful hall and surroundings. Dinner was excellent. My room was spacious and clean. The staff make this place amazing, they are all so lovely. Solveiga stood out the most, I was lucky enough to have her check me in and out and she is honestly the most wonderful person. I hope she gets the credit she deserves."

The staff were friendly and the room had some positives, including clean linen, a good-sized TV and convenient parking, but unfortunately the overall experience was very poor. "The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips! We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! Apart from being placed at the worst, and least private, table in the restaurant, we only had a limited menu...
