"Upon arrival, the front desk was overwhelmed and rude. The amenities are minimal for the $54 dollar daily charge. Upon an unpredictable storm our room flooded, we were forced to get a new room at a different hotel and when asked for a refund we were told “weather conditions.” During the storm the restaurants were closed, the power was out, there are no emergency generators and the front desk did not have an emergency plan. There are many hotels in the area consider a different option. Very disappointed. "

"Beautiful hotel with excellent location just across the street from Waikiki Beach. Had an ocean front room with beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sixt car rental on property. Nice pool and hot tub. Plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. Would you highly recommend."

"With the exception of the first staff member that checked us in and the bell person that gave us our chair the first day, we found the staff to be dismissive and unhelpful. Our tv didn’t work, we called multiple times to finally get someone up to fix it. Deck (dining) was out of many things and they just decided to close an hour early the first night. Staff seemed bothered to take orders and serve guests. The food was bland. Room was ok- very outdated bathroom and super noisy if you face the zoo or pool. A weather front was coming through and the staff was not only unprepared, unhelpful and there was zero communication. Guests had no way to get food of any kind and there was no power for the majority of the day Friday- the alarms were blaring and part of a message played to evacuate so everyone went to the stairwells which was an enormous fire and safety hazard- after we were stuck in the stairwells for about 15 minutes, we finally made it to the lobby, where staff were not directing us and didn’t seem concerned at all. So in the pitch black, another guest informed us that it was a false alarm. So we waited in a line to try to ask a staff member if we were cleared to go back to our rooms. I am aware that the hotel does not control the weather but the lack of preparation is completely unacceptable. There are a couple of shops and restaurants nearby. I would not recommend nor will I return to this location. "

"The ocean and many wonderful placea to eat were in quick walking distance. The room itself was beautiful. We had the mountain view and every morning the sunrise waa gorgeous. The entire staff waa wonderful. Lits of things to do just in the hotel. When we come back we will definitely be booking here again. "
