"Excellent room. Corner room was very good for work meetings while family slept in adjacent area. Nice kitchenette. Delicious food and drinks both with in room service and poolside. Only issues were cash-only tipping (couldn’t add to bill and pay with credit card), pool was a little crowded, and valet was a zoo during peak checkout times. "

"Overall the property is nice. The pool is small and most of it is deeper than 5 ft. So people gather in the small shallow area. There are three small hot tubs but one was closed during our entire stay. The walls of the hotel are very thin so you can hear people in other rooms and the doors slam. The staff is nice but don't go out of their way to be helpful. There is a very nice swing in the lobby to lounge on. "The hotel is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in a two queen ocean view room and it really was so worth it. This type of place is usually not in my price range however I did splurge on this place for my daughter and I’s first time in Hawaii. "This hotel is in a wonderful location, has beautiful gardens, nice staff, is a historic hotel, has a great Mai Tai Bar & has a beautiful beach. That said, “ historic” one might , at times, feel is synonymous with run down. This IS NOT an updated property. When it rains, the lobby floods. "It's a nice hotel it's not too expensive and covers all the bases. We asked for a chair and towels to go to the beach and they said no problem so the staff is awesome and the hotel does exactly what it's intended for an inexpensive stay just off Waikiki Beach."

"I loved our stay at the Outrigger Waikiki Paradise. The staff were so helpful and informative. Our room was clean and they made our bed daily and gave us fresh towels daily. Housekeeping was so kind and helpful as well. They also helped us on our last day when we needed someplace to change and clean up before our late flight and after their hours of room check out. "

"Room was clean with balconies for some outdoor views. Is in the heart of waikiki so walking distant to many restaurants in the waikiki strip. A car is recommended if you want to explore areas outside of the waikiki beach area. Most tourist activities are within 15 to 20 minutes of the hotel. Valet service was required but worth it."
