"When we arrived on a Saturday late afternoon, it was like entering a nightclub. There was a wedding with an open DJ above the bar area. It was so loud you couldn’t easily hear the staff. When in our room, the music was booming through. We asked to move to another room and they were able to facilitate this. Staff were polite and helpful. "Great location right next to the station and an easy walk into the city centre. The ground floor has been nicely refurbished and makes a good first impression. Some investment has clearly gone into the rooms too (new taps etc.), but they don’t feel finished to the same standard. The bathroom in particular felt a little tired – the silicone around the shower was messy and old, the toilet didn’t flush easily, and the extractor fan was very loud. "Great stay with Oddfellows, stayed in the apartment which is 5min down the road and turn left pass the Crosskey pub on the corner right to the end where there is a place with ‘Oddfellows’ on it, it came with parking aswell in the courtyard which was great! Very central but quiet enough at night by the apartment which was ideal, would definitely stay again. "

"Everything was fine, just one niggle, the bed was in need of a mattress topper as I could feel the mattress springs digging into my back! The facilities and spa treatments were excellent, and I’d like to return for another mini break. Great location, handy for city visits on foot, with nearby pubs and restaurants."
