"We stayed at the Saltbush Retreat for three nights in a slab hut and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. A lot of detail has gone into the presentation and comfort inside and out. It's position is handy to the Qantas Museum and the Stockman Hall of fame. Thank you to the management of Saltbush Retreat for making our trip to Longreach so memorable. "

"We stayed three nights at the Hillview Motel and enjoyed our stay. It's on the outskirts of town which is a short drive away. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed, and everything worked. It's an older style motel that needs a little updating but we would defiantly stay here again when in Charters Towers and would recommend it to other travelers."
